Theresa:
irishgenealogy.ie only has civil births thru 1920. Do you know the names of the older siblings of Nora?
Roger McDonnell
My great grandparents, James and Sarah Donnellan/Donelan, had 9 children of which the youngest was my grandmother, Nora Teresa Donelan. She married Mike Fitzmaurice in Cleveland Ohio USA in 1928.. They are my brick wall! A marreige cert or their birth certs have been hard to find. Any help would be appreciated A search on irishgenealogy.ie today produced no info on either James or Sarah. Thank you for you great work......Theresa Fitzmaurice

Theresa:
I read your message incorrectly. Here is the civil birth record for Norah see fourth record https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_return...
In the 1901 census, the family was in Shoodaun townland in Monivea civil parish http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Galway/Graigabbey/Shood...
1911 census http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Galway/Graigabbey/Shood...
I will look for additional records.

I looked on Roots Ireland and www.irishgenealogy.ie and did not find the marriage record.
See second record James died in 1938 https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_retur...
last record Sarah died in 1940 https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_retur... Looks like one of her daughters married an O'Connor
What other records do you need.
Rogert
Thankyou Roger!! Have looked on ancestry, familysearch and myheritage with no luck yet. will try the dna angle!
I know quite a few of the O'Conners but haven't asked yet.
