Can you help?
It has long been spoken in my family that Jem Roche was the uncle of my grandmother Kathleen Kearns who was born in Ferns about 1898 I have yet to find the connection.
Any one out there have Jem in their family tree?

Hi Jane
I believe Jem ( not sure if this is James or not) was born in 1878 Killurin County Wexford and died 1934 in Wexford. I have a print out of his matches that my late father collected and it states that after his retirement he ran a bar in South Main Street Wexford before becoming a bookmaker. Later he was a manager of a commission agents in the town until his death. Of his early life I have no information so cannot make the connection, if any, to the Kearns family.
