I have just discovered this ancestor. I know he migrated to USA but don't know when and I know nothing of his family. He married Faithe Ann Horn who was born 1750 Scotland. I know this seems to be a needle in the haystack so to speak but does anyone know of this family and its ancestors?

There are very few church records back to the 18th century for Co. Donegal. Do you have a record that indicates Donegal?
Cannady has a number of variant surnames including the very common Kennedy.
