Hi, I'm looking for information on my ggg grandfather that immigrated to (at the time) VA in US (it later changed to WV). John was married to Mary and had a son named Patrick. Patrick was born in Sept 1829 in Ireland. Patrick was the oldest of 4 kids (I believe). They settled in Hampshire County in US. I've found some documents that show that they may have come here in either 1835 or 1848. Any help would be appreciated!

I have checked the passenger records from Castlegarden ( if this was the arrival port) and there are several John Kenny's listed coming from Ireland. We can only assume that John was born around 1800 or maybe a bit before
