Didn't find John Jr, but did find a baptismal record at rootsireland for "Cate Walsh," as follows:

parents: John, Mary McDermott

RC parish of Addergoole, Co. Mayo

Address: Barnagoulane townland

Sponsors: Pat McDermott, Rose Mulheran

I was wondering if you could help me with a few more things?

Firstly, while I have had no trouble understanding Addergoole County Mayo, I haven't been able to clarify for myself exactly where I might find Barnagoulane Townland. Can you help me with my understanding of that location?

Secondly, I was wondering if you might be able locate baptismal records for:

Mary Lavalle

She is the daughter of John Lavalle and Mary McDermott as stated on her wedding documentation. She married Timothy Finn on the 8 Jan 1866 in Whitby, Ontario, Canada.

 Bridget Lavalle

She is showing up in the exact same area as the John and Catherine Lavalle I had inquired about earlier.                                                                                                                                                                     Bridget Lavalle is from Mayo as stated in her son's baptismal record. Her husband, John Gettings it also from Co Mayo in the same record. Their son, Michael Gettyings was born 22 Apr 1858 in Simco County, Ontario.

I was wondering if their might be a chance that Bridget Lavalle might also be a child of John Lavalle and Catherine McDermott?
