Looking for information on John Williamson, Birth Death, residence, wife/mother of his son born in Athlone 14th March 1844 named Arthur Thomas Williamson.
Arthur Thomas migrated to Australia, married and died at 54.
His father John Williamson as shown in his Army discharge records from the garrison at Athlone, dated 28th March 1859, John Williamson destination was Brecon, South Wales. Brecon was the home noted on Arthur Thomas Williamson's registration for boarding the 'Art Union' to Australia.

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and was not able to locate a baptismal record for Arthur Williamson in 1844. Roots Ireland has the RC records for Athlone and also the Church of Ireland Athlone baptismal records. I expanded the search to all of Ireland and again no record located.
Can you let me know the source of your 1844 record? Thanks!
