Joseph Eakins was Born around Newtownforbes in 1824. He married twice. 1st Isabella Holmes on 21 Mar 1850 Clongish, Longford and 2nd Margaret Jane Patterson on 03 Oct 1884 Templemichael, Longford. Joseph Eakins died on 25 Feb 1908 at Coolnahinch, Longford. Isabella died 12 Oct 1877, somewhere in County Longford and Margaret died in 12 Jun 1929 at Coolnahinch, near Longford City.
