Please see attached record for a Samuel in Co. Monaghan 1830. Joseph's eldest son is recorded as "Samuel", so it probable that his father was named Samuel?

Samuel 1824, Margaret 1826, Joseph 1827, Joseph 1828, John 1830 who were baptised in the Church of Ireland Church in Eglish which is in County Armagh.

It is a village South of Dungannon, Co Tyrone.

No record shown for James Hodge.
