Thank you for the message, any and all help would be appreciated in the hunt for Julia Ford and Michael Cannon.
I have logged onto the irelandxo site and set up an account...I do not see Craughwell listed as a parish....so I used the Galway site.....
Information that I have for Julia Ford: born abot 1796 in Craughwell, County Galway. married Michael Connolly, from Galway, in 1820. Following children, Cecilia,William, Patrick, Michael, and Thomas all born in Ireland...I have Patirck as maybe being born in Ballinaslo in March of 1825.....I have the connection in the states, looking for Irish information on the families.
My Cogan Family tree is public so if you wanted to see any other information you are more than welcome too.
Sean

Hello again Orlaith,
I had the following information on my tree concerning Julia Ford, I have not been able to get a connection to my Julia Ford and the information, but I think that Ahascragh is about 11 km from Ballinaslo, so...maybe....
Julia Ford christened 18 Aug 1878, parents Thoma Ford and B. Costello, Ahascragh and Killosolan R.C.

Julia Forde christened 25 April 1879, parents Jacobo Forde and Sabina Coffey, Ahascragh and Killosolan

  • Hello Sean

Many thanks for your genealogy message. The Julia Forde you mention from Caltra is my great grandmother. I have all her family tree done.

I also have done some work on the Sabina Coffey and Jacob(James)Forde family.

  • Hi

Julia Forde of Caltra, Kinclare married Michael Kelly, and had 5 children.  They are not the same Julia Fordes.

    Paula

Best of Luck with your research.
