I am looking for information about the Kerrigan Family who lived in the village of Annagry circa 1820's.  William Kerrigan was born about 1824.  He married Mary O'Kane prior to 1858.  I am not sure if they married in Donegal or Donnemana County Tyrone. The Kerrigan Family still lives on the family homestead in Tyrone. Any information regarding St. Mary Star of the Sea Church records would be greatly appreciated.  I believe this must have been their church parish but I am not sure when the church was established. Thank  you!

Respectfully,

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

The records for St. Mary Star of the Sea parish start very late-- 1894. The civil parish is Templecrone and I looked at the Tithes and Griffiths for Templecrone civil parish but no Kerrigan records.

Not sure when St. Mary's was established but there were chapels in the area in 1837  https://www.johngrenham.com/records/lewis.php?civilparishid=793&civilparish=Templecrone&county=Donegal&search_type=full

    Hi Roger,

Thank you very much for you quick response to my inquiry.  I will look into the web site that you provided me.  I know Donegal is a difficult county to find records but I thought I would give it a try.  Once again your help is very much appreciated!
