Hello,
The UK-based Pewter Society may be able to help you find a Keyburne-Barrington connection in Cork through its "Database of pewterers," though it costs £35 (British Pounds) to join.
The "Database of pewterers" page of the Pewter Society explains that:
"Most of the information about known British and Irish pewterers is brought together into one easily-searchable place.
It includes their marks, hallmarks, dates, locations, wares, family trees, published sources and other information.
You can make comprehensive searches for names, marks, locations and wares, and extract information about a pewterer."See: https://www.pewtersociety.org/identifying-and-collecting-pewter/databas…
The homepage for the Pewter Society is: https://www.pewtersociety.org/
If your William Keyburne is not in the Pewter Society database, perhaps members of the society can give you advice about finding more information about him in Cork during the 1700s. Information about him may also include his marriage to Elizabeth Barrington.
If you have any examples of William Keyburne's pewter, the Pewter Society may be able to provide more information about the pewter he made at no cost to you. See the "Help with identification," link at: https://www.pewtersociety.org/identifying-and-collecting-pewter/help-id…
The Local Studies department of the Cork County Library may also be able to give you advise about how to find more information about the families of William Keyburne and Elizabeth Barrington, and her parents, Alderman Benjamin Barrington, and Ann Waltho.
