I am.traveling to Ireland next year and am looking for any relatives of Thomas Keyes. He was born in Rathkeale and emigrated to the United States in the early 50's. He was the youngest of 16 children. I would appreciate any information.

You might confirm the year Thomas was born and his parents names..
Subscription site www.rootsireland has 5 "Thomas Keyes" baptised in Limerick City/Limerick County in the years 1820 - 1840.
Rathkeale is the Registration District for a large part of County Limerick, including the town.

Keyes as a name is very numerous in the Parish of Abbington in East Limerick and were originally a Church of Ireland family.
