I am of the Chevers of Ballyhealy Castle, who were resident for 400 years, until Cromwell attacked the building in 1649, and Chevers were transplanted. it is said that the family were buried in Kilturk, but I have found no further information on this, despite many years research, and having written the history of Chevers, as
"The House of Chevers". Any information on Kilturk would be greatly appreciated.

Best of luck, let me know how you get on.

Christina,
I have posted a reply but cannot see it connecting to you. NLI say that a personal visit is necessary to access the records, or failing that employing a researcher, so I will leave this until I am next in Dublin.
With best regards,

Max, got your reply.
In the meantime I will try to find out, have the inscriptions been done locally.
