I assume your ancestors were Roman Catholic. There are only five Co. Cavan RC parishes which have records back to the late 1700s. I did a search on the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find a marriage for a Nellie Lawlor to and Andrew Brady. Also, there were no Ellen/Nellie baptismal records in Co. Cavan in the 1700s.
Did the couple emigrate or stay in Ireland?

Thank you for responding Roger. Yes they are Roman catholic.. They were both born and died in Ireland. They had 2 sons that I know of born in county Cavan Thomas born around 1788 and John born early 1800's. Thomas married Mary Anne Gartner around 1810 and they had 5 children - Patrick born around 1811, Catherine, Elizabeth, Mary Anne and Thomas. John came to Alfed, Prescott county, Ontario, Canada around1825 as confirmed through a Canadian marriage Record. He married Rachel McDonnell whose family also came from Ireland and settled in Alexandria, , Glengarry county, Ontario, Canada. Thomas came later after his wife died. He came to Alfed sometime in the 1830's. With all 5 of h8s children. 1841 Canada Census records show his place of birth as Cavan. Thank you again for all your help. Suse. .
