Hi  My name is Cindy   I am the great x7granddaughter of Richard Robert Crowe.  His father was the Very Rev William Crowe and his mother was Emelia Eyre Evans daughter of Rt Hon George Evans and Mary Eyre daughter of John Eyre of Eyrecourt, Galway Co. Ireland.  I would be interested in any of these names.

    I'm not sure what you've seen and what you haven't.

    IGI (international Genealogical Index or Family Search) has the birth of Richard Crowe in 1728 Galway

    If you can get access to ancestry.com the Wierman Crowe Barstow tree has the Crowe line going back to a Richard Crowe born 1650 which is pretty amazing.

    I didn't have any luck on www.rootsireland.ie

    There are 3 records you can access for free online on which you can check where families with the 3 surnames you mentioned were at various times:

    The Tithe Applotments (1823-37) Griffiths Valuation (1846-64) and the Irish Censuses 1901 & 1911.

    To check whether there are still people with those surnames in Galway just check the Irish phone book - there are 48 Crowes living in Galway at the moment.

    Hopefully someone with one of the surnames will respond to your post too.
