Looking for info on John McGuire immigrating to US

Hi Trisha- NOTE THAT I AM NOT AN IRELAND XO EXPERT, I just happened to notice we share an ancestor in John McGuire.  

John's father was James Felix McGuire b. circa 1734 in Dublin, Died in the Battle of Blue Licks Springs, KY 19Aug1782,  Mother's name Elizabeth Margaret Black.  There is actually quite a bit of info and sources on these individualson and a few more family members easy to find on subscription site Ancestry.com. I am looking specifically for the Irish records and documents and have found them hard to come by and seeking help from Ireland XO.

Trisha, please disregard the notes about John's parantage... as I was looking into this myself I think there is an issue verifying that (always best to look at actual references that just family trees of other individuals on ancestry- some things aren't adding up!).  Still, starting with the Find a Grave link I posted gives verified info on James McGuire and you can also get to John McGuire's Find a grave site from there along with spouse and other family members.
