My great grandfather ×3, James O'Neill was born in 1855 in Ireland. He shows up on the 1880 US census in Stamford, Connecticut making him 25 at the time. It says he was an Ironroller. I have no idea when he arrived or what Parish he was from. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you, Kary O'Neill

James O'Neill is a fairly common name in Ireland. Without any information about what parish or even county he was from it would be only guesswork trying to locate him. If you have any other information it would be a bit easier to locate him.
