I am in Australia & wondering if any relatives of Laurence (or Lawrence) and Jane Killian are around. Laurence and Jane Killian lived in Clara and had two children at the time of emigration in 1885. The children were Mary who was 1 and Josephine who was a few months at the time of emigration. In the registration papers for the children, Laurence states his occupation is "shop keeper".
Laurence was born in Drum, Roscommon. His father was stated to be a farmer.
Jane Killian (nee Gaffney) was born at Moate, Westmeath.
I would be pleased to hear from anyone who knows anything about this family. Thank you. Marilyn.

Hi Marilyn,
This was the only Killian death I found that stated "Shop Keeper" (though a small shopkeeper)
