Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
According to Roots Ireland records, John, the son, was baptized in April 1819. There were at least three other siblings: Ellen June 1821 Ann July 1826 Patrick June 1828 I was unable to locate a marriage record. How else can we help you?

thank you for the reply. As a newcomer to this site i remain unsure as to how it all fits. I tried to post under St Michael's Parish , Limerick to no avail. I reckoned my best chance of a reply lay in Limerick yet there you are in Roscommon. You are in Roscommon aren't you ?
There is a photo of Ellen McDonnell which i have - she died 1888 - but thats as far as i've managed. Ideally i had hoped to link with someone who had been doing some research on the various Limerick McDonnells.

Looks like we don't have a parish page for St. Michael's Limerick. I will notify our HQ.
I'm the parish liaison for Castlemore parish in Roscommon and two other parishes but I live in Maryland in the USA. My grandmother was from Castlemore parish. I help answer some of the messages on the message board.
You can add Ellen's story and picture to our XO Chronicles site https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-dat…
