I am looking for any information about Mizen? My great-grandfather immigrated to South Africa, and lately I have been interested in my heritage.
I have asked my grandfather but he can't remember (old age ;)) and I am thinking of immagrating myself. I do know this goes back only two generations so I would do it the long way around, but first and foremost I want to find out more about my family name!

While looking for the name I noticed the name comes up a lot for Merchant navy officers who were mostly from England
