I'm looking for any information on my great grandparents. The only information I have is my grandfather was Patrick Joseph Murphy born 14/7/1920 in bailieborough. Father listed as Patrick Murphy and was a postman and mothers maiden name was Ellen Lynch. I've found various possible matches to Patrick Murphy who could be my great grandfather but nothing linking any of them to Ellen Lynch. Any information which would help me move forward would be appreciated. Thank you.

The birth for Patrick is a little too recent to be included in online records - the births on the IrishGenealogy website cut-off at 100 years, but there is a promising marriage for Patrick Murphy and Ellen Lynch on the 19th November 1919 in Kells registration district which is next to Ballieborough registration district. The occupation for Patrick is recorded as Postman. The location of the chapel looks like Tirachorka/Teraworker townland - the closest I see on the OSI map is at the nearby village of Newcastle.
