Martin Joeph Hannon - seeking. PLACE of birth ?

I cannot see a birth in Ireland that matches the date you have given. Hannon/Hannan is a fairly common name. There’s 7 or 8 aged around 1 in the 1901 Irish census, and a similar number aged around 11 in 1911. Can you provide Martin’s father’s name and occupation from the 1930 marriage which you referred to in another post, to try and identify the right family?

just to add - I can see a likely match for Martin and his wife on the 1939 register - on this he gives his date of birth as 3rd of May 1900

Where was he born...can't wait to know the place .....

I now have a copy of his death certificate giving that very same date of birth..

He died in Birmingham and his 8 children including Kathleen (my friends mother ) where all living in Birmingham.
