Via a death certificate for my great Grandfather (Patrick Kane) it was recorded that his parents were James Kane and Mary Kearney. Thru searches on Ancestry I found a Mary Kearney in Herbertstown born 1837 but not much else. Curious if anyone can follow up and see if any record of her marrying a James Kane sometime mid 1850s. My great grandfather birth sometime in 1856 or so. Naturalization papers for Great Grandfather only stated county Limerick. He had a younger brother Michael and a younger sister Mary. All three came to US in early 1880s.

According to the subscription site Roots Ireland. no church marriage record in Co. Limerick for a Mary Kearney married to a Kane. Also, no Kane baptismal records with father James and mother with maiden name of Kearney.
