hi looking for any information on the family name of McCabe from the parish of Denn in Co. Cavan in the late 1700's mainly patrick but any info would be appreciated. Im doing my ancestry and patrick is on it but i can find no more out about his family etc thanks di xx

    I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and there are a number of Patrick McCabe baptismal records in Co. Cavan in the late 1700s but none in the parish of Denn. The Denn RC records start in the late 1850s.

    There are also a number of McCabe records in the 1828 Tithe records for Denn civil parish. I assume you have already researched the Tithe records?

  • no im just starting roger, wouldnt have a clue how to start so any help would be much appreciated, on the ancestry site it has patricks military record as his birth in denn but nothing else
