Looking for information on the McCabe family in Roscommon (Elphin Parish) beginning with Patrick (Patricium) McCabe born to James (Jacobi) McCabe And Jane (Joannae) Conway 4/28/1847. The following timeline is pieced together and may suffer some errors.
It would seem the family resided in or around Boyle for the most part.
Patrick married Anne (Annam) Flanagan 02/20/1865, children are as follows:
Bridget born 12/20/1865
Celia born 09/29/1867
James born 04/23/1870
Edward born 05/10/1872
Patrick born 01/11/1875
John born 12/11/1880
Patrick seems to have left for the United States circa 1879, my history may suggest a second family here in the States.

The family was living in Corgorman townland in Kilronan civil parish.Kilronan is northeast of Boyle and the northernmost parish in Roscommon.
There is a 1901 census reocrd in Corgorman which shows Pat, Anne and son John http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Roscommon/Aghafin/Corg…
They were still in Corgorman in 1911 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Roscommon/Aghafin/Corg…; The census record indicates that only three of Anne's six children were alive in 1911.

Anne died in 1929 and the informant was her daughter in law Ellen https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_retu…
Pat may have left for America at some point but he was back in Ireland by 1901.

My tree on Ancestry may or may not help but your welcome to look at it. The McCabes are listed under my Neary/Brabazon/Aldous/Kirchner tree. OR do a search on Ancestry for John McCabe 1828-1914. His father seems to have married a Flanagan.
