Hello,
In search of information on McCallions of Bellagherty, County Dublin. I am stuck on Mary Ann McCallion- 1901 census says married but does not list a husbands name and she is listed as head of the house.
Children in the 1901 census:
Annie Mary - age 13 ( says born in America)
Isabella Edith age 8 born in Ireland
Edward Joseph age 7 - born in Ireland
Maggie age 5 - Ireland
Thomas J. age 3 - Ireland
Francis Patrick - age 2, Ireland
John A. - 4months old
By the 1911 census both Annie Mary and Maggie are no longer listed and MaryAnn is now a widow.
Is there anyway to find the husbands name? Maiden name for Maryann? Does anyone have information on this family?

Hi, Go to irishgenealogy.ie (free site) and choose civil records. You can look up the birth records of the children born in Ireland; the father will be named along with mother's birth name.
