Owen McDermott born Ireland about 1824 d. Albany NY USA 1878-wife Ann Jones- b. Ireland 1825, d. Albany NY 1897--Unknown county-McDermott had a brother Thomas married Sarah Burns also emigrated to Albany NY both in the 1850's-any information about these people is appreciated. K Kennedy

  • Hello Kenneth,

    I went on www.rootsireland.ie and put in owens name and date.   I found a record for

    owen mcdermott 1825 co. louth

    owen mcdermott 1826 co.longford

     

    I then put in Ann (without an e) Jones and got 10 records in various parts of the country.  However there were 2 records for co. longford

    Ann Jones 1824 co longford

    Ann Jones 1827 co. longford

    It might be worth viewing these records.
