Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The RC baptismal records for Kilmore RC parish start in 1859. I looked at the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing and there was an entry for an Anne Goldrick in Drummora Great townlnad. Don't know if she is connected to your Catherine. There was one Goldrick family in the 1901 census for Drummora Great townland. Again, not sure of the connection to Catherine.

You may want to add Catherine's story to our XO Chronicles site https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-dat…
Have you considered autosomal DNA testing?

Thank you, Roger! If by chance there are other members searching the McGoldrick name, I will add what little else I have found. On findmypast.com there is one possible Passenger List: Cath. McGolrick [sp?], age 29, Spinster, accompanied by Bridget + Edward, Last Residence Ire, Port of Entry Philadelphia, 4 Aug 1837, vessel is Emanuel.
There is a 1850 census record for a Bridget McGoldrick, Harrison, Perry Co. Ohio, widow, age 57, with children: Patrick age 35, John age 33, Michael age 24, Bridget age 22.
I do not know the family legend of Catharine's journey to America to include whether she traveled w/ family. By 1841 she was m. to John Flood probably b 1816, Tipperary, date of migration UNK. Catharine + John Flood raised their family in and around Peas, Belmont Co, Ohio ( abt 250 miles from Harrison, Ohio).
I am not particularly concerned with the age discrepencies between Catharine and Bridget as possible mother. Catharine's age is reported in US census and other records with DOB ranging from 1810 to 1818. Other scenarios might inc Edward as brother, Bridget sister-in-law.
I have uploaded autosomal DNA results to gedmatch.com for myself and one cousin who also descends from Catharine's youngest son, John. We are awaiting results from another cousin who descends from Catharine's daughter Julie Ann. I haven't yet been successful in mapping chromosome segments which are obviously McGoldrick-Flood, though am finding many Irish "cousin" trees which I can't connect. I am not sure if it is appropriate to post gedmatch DNA kit nos here (?).
Thank you. Sue
