I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find a marriage record for Denis and Catherine. I only found one baptismal record for Peter with parents Denis and Catherine. I did some additional searching and found the records for Patrick and Thomas, however, the fathers name was shown as Dominick. I tried to find the original entries on the parish register and was unsuccessful. The register is in Latin so possibly the Roots Ireland transcriber mistook Dionysius as Dominick rather than the correct translation of Denis. I then looked at the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing  https://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/roscommon/kilglass.htm and there was a Denis Maguire in Legan townland in Kilglass civil parish and a Denis McGuire in Drumman More townland in Kilglass parish. I think the one in Drumman More relates to the 1917 death record you located but I don't think that record is for your ancestor. Possibly the other Denis Legan is your ancestor but I was unsuccessful in finding good death records for Denis or Catherine.

Is it possible they emigrated also to America?

I'm going to do some searching for Dennis & Catherine in America - there is also a burial record in Canada that may match Catherine. I really appreciate you taking the time to search the McGuires for me!
