Any info on Dominick McKeegan & Mary Martin from Belturbet around 1860s. They had children James &Dominic. They were Godparents to my GG Aunt Alice McKeegan. Alice's father was Thomas McKeegan. I think they are related in some way.

I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and neither marriage was on their data base which leads me to conclude that the marriages were not held in Drumlane RC where marriage records are available starting 1837. Likely the marriages occurred in the Kildallen RC records where marriage records start in 1867.
I did find the following baptismal records for children of Dominick McKeegan and Mary Martin: John 1865 James 1868 Ellen 1873 Thomas 1877

Here’s Thomas’s birth certificate on 6.2.1874 in the townland of Drumherriff. Father Dominick was a labourer:

Aww thank you so much. I think Thomas was maybe named after my GG Grandfather McKeegan.
