I am looking for information on my great-grandfather, Patrick McPhillips. Here is the information I have.

His father:

Michael McPhillips was born in 1824  in Clones Parish, County Fermanagh, the son of Patrick McPhillips.  He was a farmer. He married Mary Smith or Smyth. Their children were born in Corravilla Township, Aghabog Parish County Monaghan

My ggfather and his siblings:

Three McPhillips children (names unknown) died in Ireland.  Five McPhillips children immigrated with their parents to Quebec departing Liverpool in May 1868 on the “Nestorian” and from there to Wisconsin USA.  The children were Patrick b. 14 Feb 1855, Susan 2 September 1857, John 14 September 1859, Mary in 1862, and Owen 12 November 1868. Perhaps the 3 children who died were born prior to 1855 or between 1862-68, given the gaps in birthyears of the siblings.

    My Great Great Grandfather 

    Patrick McPhillips  DOB approx 1813

    Death possibly 31st August 1893 4th February 1903 

    In 1901 Census living at No 1, 1911 Census living at no 22)

    He married Bridget McN**** McNeery?, McNerry?, McNelly? - Her name is on the Marriage Register for her son Patrick but it has been altered and is not clear!

     

     

    Possibility they had 3 children that I know of ( I think) on the 1911 Census it says that 11 children were born alive and 7 still living. I would love to know more about them.

    i. Francis McPhillips 20 Jan 1849

    ii. Patrick McPhillips15th March 1857 

    iii. Anne McPhillips approx 1852 ( 1901 Census living at No 7)

    iv Catherine McPhillips- married John Fitzpatrick, had a daughter Mary E Fitzpatrick who was with Patrick and Bridget on both censuses- she was present at the death of Francis McPhillips)

    v Mary McPhilips- 1901 Census Mary ( From Latnamard, living with niece Ann Fay ? no. 24 on form) 

    vi Alice Mcphillips

    vii Rose McPhillips DOB approx 1841 - in 1901 Census living at house no 25, in 1911 census living at No 24

    viii Edward McPhillips- in 1901 Census living at no 3 - couldn’t find him in 1911 census

    My Great Uncle

    i. Francis McPhillips 

    Born approx 1848- 1851 (Possibly baptised 30th Jan 1849- Clogher )

    to Patrick McPhillips and Bridget? see 1901 and 1911 censuses.

    Died 18th January 1932  in Latnamard  age 71 years. (At death Mary E Fitzpatrick, niece, daughter of John and Mary McPhillips DOB approx 1867??)

     

    He joined the RIC in         Possible RIC number 34802

     

     

     

    My Grandfather

    ii. Patrick McPhillips DOB 15th March 1857- Rakeeragh Co Monaghan. 

    Christening 15th March 1857 Rakeeragh. Died 10th May 1933 in The Mater Hospital, Belfast.

    He joined RIC.  His RIC number is 42610   

    He married Margaret Maguire on 4th Oct 1893 in Mageheralogh. When he married he lived in Trillick, Co Fermanagh and she lived in Moneygar, Trillick. Margaret Maguire DOB 5 Feb 1870 Irvinestown, Fermanagh. Died 27th Nov 1943 in the Mater Hospital Belfast.

    They had 3 sons 

    i. Patrick Joseph McPhillips DOB- 13 Jul 1898 in Belfast

    ii. John Francis McPhillips DOB 4th Feb 1902- Was ordained a priest in    

    iii. James McPhillips  DOB 29th April 1911 in Belfast

    In 1901 Census he lived in Belfast 

    In 1911 census he lived in Belfast.

    He died 10 May 1933 in Belfast, Co Antrim

    My Great Aunt

    iii. Ann McPhillips DOB approx 1851 possible death 

     

    I am looking for more information on the following family please.
