LOoking for marriage of Michael Nolan (sp Nowlan) and Julia Hayes in Carlow, approx 1844. Lived in the Rathmore/Rathvilly area during that time and may have been married in St. John the Baptist in Grange as they are buried there.

Most Catholic records are held locally, so perhaps you could try writing to the parish priest for possible assistance.
One website which you may find helpful is the Irish Times website which gives an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Rathvilly parish follow this link:
(In the Irish land divisions [which can sometimes be very confusing!] Rathvilly and Rathmore civil parishes are both a part of Rathvilly Roman Catholic parish)
You could also try searching at https://familysearch.org/ This is a huge database of genealogical records that have been compiled by the Church of the Latter Day Saints.
You could also try searching http://www.rootsireland.ie/, however please note that you have to pay to view the results from this website.
