I have been analyzing the civil records on irishgenealogy.ie for Mitchelstown's registration district. I noticed there were no death registrations after 1916 (I haven't yet checked births and marriages). Was the Mitchelstown RD closed by 1917? If yes, what was the new registration district? Mallow?

I think the Mitchelstown records were subsumed into the Fermoy registration district as of 1918 based on a quick analysis.
