Hello. Can anyone tell me if there are any records for Mohill workhouse. My great grandfather, William Dolan, was born there in 1876 to Elizabeth Dolan, father unknown. It looks like he was brought up by his grandfather or uncle certainly someone in the Dolan family. Any information regarding workhouse records would be greatly appreciate. Many thanks.

Check out this site http://www.workhouses.org.uk/Mohill/ I would contact the library in Ballinamore to see if the records they maintain includes any additional information on Elizabeth and William.
