My grandmother, Catherine Fennessy was born in Adare in 1870. Her parents were James Fennessy and Catherine McEniry. She was the youngest of 9 siblings. She came to Melbourne, Australia in the 1890's but very sadly passed away when she was only 45 and my father, her first born son was 13. Her mother's parents were Edmond McEniry and Anna Cullinane. I have various records from Adare, Croom and Kilfinny areas.My daughter and I have been blessed and had 3 trips back to Ireland and these areas. In January of this year she and her partner were married at St John's Cathedral in Limerick and then we enjoyed a magnificent family meal at Adare Manor. We wanted to "complete the circle" and acknowlege the importance Catherine has brought to our lives. If there was anyone reading this with any information on our family, especially if anyone knew where any of our family are buried we'd be so grateful. Maree
