I would be very grateful for any information regarding the following:- My Great Grandfather (a Trainer at The Curragh) married my Great Grandmother in the RC Church at Suncroft on 1 June 1890. His name was George Edwards and her name was Mary Burke. He lived in Jockey Hall.
This is the first documented record I have of George Edwards and I would love to know if there is a record of residents of Jockey Hall around that time or any other information to allow me to verify his birthplace. He may have been based in the Curragh Camp at that time or been discharged from the Cavalry in England. The rumour is that he had been in the cavalry.
