Hi all, I'm hoping someone will be able to help me please. I'm looking for a Obituary for Frank and Annie Cochrane (Maiden name White) 31st May 1920-29th April 2008.
She was a widower as her husband Frank Cochrane passed away on the 25th February 2005. Annie and Frank are both buried in Roselawn cemetery, Belfast.
Annie's last place of residence was "DOA 8-9-1995 Tudordale Clinic 294 Holywood Road (in 2601) BT4 1SG" . She was 88 when she passed away and the burial was on the 2nd of May 2008. Frank's last place of residence was "Doa : 15-10-04 Mount Lens NH 166 Kings Road Belfast (Cr 2506) BT5 7EL" . He was 84 at the time of passing and he was Buried on the 28th February 2005.
Some of their children's names and family are Noel, John, Frankie, Carol, Lawson, Sally and Ken.

  • I searched the British Newspapers Archive site but did not find any death notices or other mention of either Frank or Annie. Not every newspaper is on that site, though.

  • I am looking for a birth certificate on a John Wilson Rice born  May 9 1823 in county of Antrim town of Ballyclare Ireland. I am his great grandson doing this for geanealogical purposes. Any help is appreciated. My name is John Walter Rice. He moved to the United States somewhere around 1845-1850. Hope this helps I am looking for his parents name as well

  • Birth registration only started in Ireland in 1864. So you won’t get a birth certificate for John. They hadn’t been introduced. Prior to that you have to rely on church records for a baptism. Not all churches have records for the 1820s and of those that do, not all are on-line. Do you have any idea what denomination John was, and in which church he might have been baptised?
