Katherine Donnelly born 1908 in either Ireland or Boston was one of a twin, twin died.

Her mother was Katherine Coughlin, born in Dungarven.   She married Cornelius O'Brien also of Dungarven.

I think they all went straight to Boston.

Any information would be great …

some additional oral history

Mom's dad was a butcher at a very exclusive club on Beacon St just a few doors down from the state house.
Aunt Della was mom's aunt. She lived in Boston south end and owned a few properties there. She took mom and Eleanor Foley to Dungarvan when they were little girls. Mom said they rode with their grandfather in his milk and egg horse drawn carriage. He was the milkman in Dungarven. Aunt Della's husband was John Croxon. He didn't like Boston and so he lived in Falmouth on Cape Cod. They were the parents of our Aunt Eleanor who married Charles Foley. Eleanor and Charlie who had 4 kids. Tom named them. The youngest was Kathy. She was my age. She married a Feldstein.
I'll look for more info
