I'm trying to search my great grandmother's line but have come to a halt.

Her name on her marriage certificate was Agnes Adeline O'Brien, place of birth Kings County 1842-1845

Her father was recorded as James O'Brien a wheelwright.

She married John Grocott in Liverpool in 1883.  Her date of birth was 1842 but I think this may have been incorrect due to needing parental permission if under 21yrs.

    I searched Roots Ireland and searched in Co. Offaly for an Agnes O'Brien baptismal record with father James. The only record that came up was March 27 1859 in Birr. Father James O'Brien and mother Bridget Ryan.
