O'Gara of Glencolmcille; Ward of Ardara

The Registration District for the Ardara area is Glenties.  I have found the civil record for Hugh (which you may already have).

You might also be able to follow this family in the 1901 and 1911 Census.  The link to the Census is below:

I am afraid I do not come from the Glencolmbkille area, however I am would be volunteer for Irelandxo.com from north Donegal.

I am attaching the Civil Birth Record for Hugh Gara and his wife Bridget Ward.

I will be in Donegal in early June. Principally around Glencolmcille, Killeybegs and Ardara.  Any suggestions of things to see , places to go? Also, if I can buy you a pint , I would be happy.  Any way of knowing if any of the O.Gara's or Wards are still in the area??

and scrolled down for results in Glenties area for registration. Thank you for your kind offer but I must decline at this time, I live further south than Donegal with my young family and only get pleasure of going home to north Donegal a few set times throughout the year.
