Looking for Irish Gilliland's. I think they emigrated to US in late 1600's or early 1700's.

Unfortunately most Irish records do not go back that far, most registration did not start till around 1800 and civil registration did not take place till 1864.
But you could be lucky
The earliest record for Gilliland that I can find dates back to 25 May 1719 Dublin
