I am having a nightmare of a time on Ancestry with the Swanton side of my family tree. So many conflicting hints are coming my way and there are a few Patience Swanton's out there. But I am trying to find the parents of the Patience Hellen Swanton that married Edward E Noble. I definitely have DNA connections to many other lines from Cork. Kingston, Jenning's, Dean, Ross. They all seemed to marry into one another over the years and I have Cork great great grandparents on both sides. If anyone out there knows anything I would be most grateful. Ancestry is offering me hints of Sarah Dennis, Ellen Swanton, Ellen Wolfe and different Swanton's as the father.

    Welcome to IrelandXO Amanda,

    Did some searching and found a family tree up on Ancestry with the following information

    Helen married Edward in 1825    here is a link with their marriage on  familysearch    https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:WGW6-L1MM
    Helen's parents are -  Mom Ellen Wolfe born 1786 in County Cork and died in May 7th 1862
                                       Dad James Robert Swanton born in 1765  and died in 1843 in Fortview near Ballydehob Co Cork

    you dont give any information on where your Helen is from and no approx date which makes it very hard for us help from this end. 

    I see from your notes above, you got a hint on Ellen Wolfe - would you contact the family tree owner and have a chat with them as when I put in a search for
    the surnames  Jennings, Dean & Ross - they too are in this family tree - which would tie up with your DNA results.
