Patrick Blanchflower

I am looking to determine a relationship between Patrick Blanchflower (born between 1798 and 1805 in Ireland, county unknown) and James Blanchflower  ( born about 1801 in Ireland, county unknown). I think they are brothers but can't prove it. Patrick married Unity (Winnifred) Ward and died in Ashton under Lyne, Cheshire England in 1845. James Blanchflower married Ann Craven and died in the same location, in 1885. 

Locating the sponsors on their children's baptism record may establish a link but I have not been able to locate thone records.

James Blanchflower's' (1801-1885) children all born in either Lancashire or Cheshire England

Charles 1840

Ann 1842

Also, if I can find the names of the parents of either James or Patrick, it would provide the connection I'm looking for.

Appreciate any guidance you can provide that would lead me closers to solving this mystery.
