Patrick Brennan marriage to Honora Delaney abt 1813 Kilkenny.

Most Co. Kilkenny RC parishes have records back to the early 1800s including all four parishes in Kilkenny town. Castlecomer records start in 1812.

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and found a July 8 1811 marriage between Patrick Brennan and a Mary Delaney. The marriage was in the Muckalee RC church. Any possibility that this is the marriage you are looking for?

Thank you Roger that is definitely a possibility. I have the information  about "Honora Delaney"  from the Manhattan College Archives in New York. One of their sons, Joseph Brennan, became a Christian Brother and worked at Manhattan College as Br Jasper.  He could have got his mother's name wrong if she was always called by another name, or if the name was somehow mixed up by the archives.. I have identified 3 other children. I will see if I can find them with Patrick Brennan and Mary Delaney as parents.

Could you tell me the names of the 4 parishes in Kilkenny town. Are Castlecomer and Muchalee in Kilkenny Town? I have generations of anccestors in these parishes

Muckalee RC parish is just to the north of Kilkenny town and Castle comer is just to the north of Muckalee.. The four parishes are St. Patrick's, St. Canice's, St. Mary's which is the Cathedral  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Mary%27s_Cathedral,_Kilkenny        and St. John's. We have visited all but St. John's. 

FYI a few short blocks from St. Mary's is a Dominican Abbey called the Black Abbey  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Abbey   We also visited the Abbey.

I only found one baptismal record on Roots Ireland for a child of Patrick Brennan and Mary Delaney.
