Hello!
I am searching for any records regarding Peter Joseph Garrihy. I understand that he was born in Ennis/Ennistymon in the early 1930s, and he died in Coventry UK, in 1975 aged 44.
I also have been told that he had several siblings including a Patrick, Bridgit, Micheal, Nellie, Martin, Eva, John, Mary and Kathleen, and that his parents were Martin and Mary Garrihy. His mother's maiden name was Browne.
I have searched on Ancestry etc and have not been able to find any records so far to confirm information about any members of the family. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I can’t find the parents marriage nor Peter Joseph’s birth but I do see births for:
Eva Garrihy in Ennistimon Jan – Mar 1934 Volume 4, page 121. Mother’s maiden name was Brown (no e).
Nellie Garrihy registered in Ennistimon Jul-Sept 1933, Vol 4, page 140. Mother’s maiden name isn’t given but I suspect it’s the same family.
Bridget Garrahy Apr – Jun 1929 Vol 4, page 150. Mothers mn Browne.
So looks as though the parents marriage was pre 1929.
You might want to order photocopies of those certificates from GRO Roscommon to see if they give you any clues, (perhaps the parents forenames are not Martin & Mary) but it looks as though you are searching in the right area.
There was a Patrick Joseph Garrahy born Jul – Sept 1920 Vol 4, page 157. (Mother’s mn not given). That’s the nearest I can see.
