My gggrandmother catherine carberry married her 3rd cousin john carberry (same name) in 1871 gurteen sligo. They had 2 daughters that i know of: mary b1872 and catherine b1874. John died 1874. She later married my paternal gggrandfather michael flynn 1879 gurteen sligo. They had 2 daughters as well: bridget/beesy 1880 and anne 1884. Catherine died during birth of their son 1888. Son died 2nd day, catherine 2 days later. So...can i assume her 1st marriage daughters were named for hers then husbands mothers? ...and then daughters of hers and michaels named after his mother then her eldest sister? I wont find any info on if they named 2day old son or not. I also cant find original daughters in records. Where did they go. They were not with catherine & michael and new daughters...? Arrgh!! Thanks.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The Kilfree RC baptismal records start in May 1873. I located a transcription of Catherine's record on the subscription site Roots Ireland. See below. You will not find a baptismal record for Mary only the civil birth record. Ninth record on the page https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1872/03243/2188345.pdf
I think your assumptions about the names are logical but we won't know for sure.
This may be the marriage record for Mary Carberry See second record. marriage was in Boyle. The father was shown as John which matches but can't sure https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1912/09908/5600547.pdf
