I am interested in the families of Radford, Ashworth, and Carleton from Castlemacadam, County Wicklow, Ireland.
Two families (Radford/Ashworth and Radford/Carleton) migrated to Meigs County, Ohio, USA in the early 1800s.
I have one 1827 USA naturalization record which references Castlemacadam:

"Naturalization record for William Radford, originally from Castlemacadam, County Wicklow, Ireland", Meigs County, Ohio, court records 1819-1853, Nov term 1827, page 109, 9 Nov 1827, Record located by Lynda Bell, https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSTZ-B3HY-N.
"William Radford a native of Ireland personally appeared in open court & being duly sworn doth on oath declare that he was born in the Parish of Castle McAdam in the County of Wicklow Ireland & within the dominions of the King of Great Britain & Ireland that he sailed from Dublin on the 14th of May A.D. 1819 landed in Halifax N.S. June 3rd of the same year from thence sailed to Philadelphia where he arrived on the 3rd July following from thence came to this State & County in August next ensuing where he has since resided, that he is thirty four years of age ..."
My wife is a descendant of William Radford and Eleanor Ashworth.
I am particularly interested in any information on the family of James Radford and Sarah Hughes who are referenced in this 1777 marriage record:

Don:
I assume your Radfords and Ashworths were Church of Ireland? The subscription site Roots Ireland has records for the C of I parish in Castlemacadam starting in 1702 for baptisms, 1720 for marriages and 1719 for burials. Possibly there are gaps in records since I do not see a baptismal record for William around the 1790s. I also did not find the marriage record or a baptismal record for Eleanor.
There were nine Radford baptismal records from 1748-1799. There was a James Radford baptized December 30 1855 with father James Radford and mother Jean (no maiden name). Possibly the James who married Sarah Hughes.
There was only one Radford burial-- an infant named Richard in 1847.
Let me know if you have any questions.
