I am trying to track exactly where my ancestors came from in Ireland and when they left for America. Reverend Alexander Foster ( 1710-1767) appears to be the Father of Susannah Foster (1754-1843) who married Henry Murphy (1751-1826) who we think is from Cork county. Susannah also appears to be from Cork. Thomas Murphy (1812-1892) is their son is my gggg-father. There is some confusion as who the correct Henry Murphy Susannah married as well.
I also have ancestors in Limerick.
thank you, Gale

Hello Gale
I've attached a guide which will help in your search for emigration and passenger lists online. This was produced by one of my colleagues, whilst my focus is Northern Ireland this will guide you to online resources for the island of Ireland.

Gale,
If Rev Alexander Foster was a Church of Ireland minister, his career and some personal information about his life should be in Crockfords Clerical Directory. I think it’s on-line but will likely be pay to view.
Possibly Lambeth Palace may also have that same information, though from their website, their library is closed at present as it is relocating.

Thank you for the information. I will look for both of these and watch for when Lambeth reopens.
