Looking for threads to follow my Irish family history further back in time from around 1800. I believe that the parents of my 3rd great-grandmother Margaret Lester baptised in Ferns on July 27, 1801 are Richard Lester and Bridget Madoch. This is based on Ancestry records, and on family history that Margaret a Catholic, and that she was the daughter of a ships captain. It may also help me if I can establish the possible family relationships for godparents listed in the register, Samuel Brewer and Anastasia Cahil. Just thought I would put out some feelers in case these people are familiar to others. Thanks.
