So I have a two part questions. Richard Walsh, my great grandfather was born i believe June 8, 1871. He married Catherine October 1,1898. He died around the time of my grandfather's born in 1899. I am trying to find out when. The second part of the question is about Catherine. She went on to remarry & have two kids. She married John Norris in 1903, had a son James in 1903 & daughter Mary in 1911. My grandfather emigrated to America via Canada in 1927. My dad, also John never knew his grandparents names or that his father had two half siblings. Never heard stories about his grandmother. My dad died in 1995. He just thought his father was an orphan. So I would really love to know what happened.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I located Catherine Norris in the 1911 census likely living with her sister Anne and Anne's husband. John Walsh and the baby Mary Norris were with Catherine. Likely John Norris was working in another part of Ireland or abroad. Mary Norris was born in 1910 but I was unable to locate a civil birth record for her.

This may be James Norris living with Catherine's parents and siblings in 1911 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Waterford/Waterford_No__3_Urban/Brown_s_Lane__part_of_/672210/
Here is the 1899 civil birth record for John Walsh. https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1899/02026/1777240.pdf
I was unable to find a death record for Richard Walsh.
I think this is his 1871 birth record https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1871/03282/2202997.pdf

Oh wow Roger, thank you. I had Richard's birthdate wrong. It looks like July 4th, 1871. Thank you!
